A man has been injured while battling a blaze in Servette in Geneva, but his actions have been praised by firefighters.
He burnt his hand attempting to fight the fire with an extinguisher, his actions were described as crucial in the stopping the spread.
Emergency services soon had it under control.
The work is designed to fix a design flaw in the buildings which forced their evacuations three years ago.
