The parents and a grandmother of a severely disabled 3-year-old are on trial in canton Aargau after the child was found dead in 2020.
The child was found dead in her crib. She suffered from a brain disease which meant she would have required care throughout her life.
There were no signs of trauma on the body, but an autopsy discovered traces of the drug ecstasy in her blood, according to prosecutors.
Authorities are calling for 18 years imprisonment. The trial continues.
