Woman seeks life saving savior

Francisca - searching for life saver

A young woman in Geneva has launched a search for the woman who saved her life when she was swept away by the Rhone last spring.

26-year-old Francisca was walking with her dogs – Staffordshire Bull Terriers - along the river in Satigny on Saturday April 6th around 2pm. One of her dogs spotted a duck and jumped into the waters – but was quickly swept away. Francisca then jumped in after him – and her other dog jumped after her.

She soon lost consciousness – but came to on the bank in the arms of a woman, who she says had curly brown hair, brown eyes and slightly dark skin. Francisca estimates she was in her twenties.

One of her dogs managed to get out by himself, the other perished.

She has tried to search for her saviour on social media, but with no luck.
