Canton Geneva says it is ending the small amount of tolerance allowing drivers to park in designated spots for deliveries.
In the past, officials would turn a blind eye for about 20 minutes – after that you would get a ticket. But from yesterday, that’s come to an end and now anyone parking in a marked area with a yellow cross will be ticketed immediately.
Picking someone up or dropping them off is still OK.
