Switzerland has expressed its compassion to the victims and their loved ones after the stabbing attack in a shopping center in Sydney, Australia on Saturday.
The assailant, a 40 year old man, stabbed shoppers in a busy shopping center in the city’s east side.
Five women and one man were killed, and several others were injured, including a baby, before the assailant was shot dead by a policewoman.
The Swiss embassy in Canberra released a statement on X, formally Twitter, that said “we are deeply saddened by the events that occurred today at Sydney’s Bondi Junction. Our thoughts are with the victims and their families”
