A man who took a Smith and Wesson revolver out in the streets in Carouge one night and decided to shoot up some road signs has been given a 7-month prison sentence – suspended for four years.
The incident was in February 2020. The man admitted he had been drinking. He told the court he was bored, but denied he was endangering others. He said there was no one around and he deliberately fired toward the woods.
The defendant didn’t have a firearms licence either.
The judge admonished him – saying he takes things too lightly and he needs to do something with his life. He’s been unemployed for several years.
