No one needs to touch your Covid app

The Covid vaccination app has been updated and there is now no need for the person checking the validity of the pass to push the refresh button.

Many people felt uncomfortable handing their phone to someone else for the process to see if the pass turns green to show it’s OK.

If the pass is no longer valid, it will be indicated directly on the screen.

But some have already discovered a flaw. If the date is changed on the phone, the pass can be tricked into showing it’s valid.

But that won’t work if the QR code is checked with a verification app.
