A man has been killed while skiing on the Titlis mountain in canton Nidwalden.
The 35-year-old was with friends but broke away from the group to take another route off-piste. The alarm was raised when he didn’t reappear.
Rescuers started a search, but the man’s body was discovered by another off-piste skier.
It’s believed the man fell off a 300-meter-high ledge. He was confirmed dead at the scene.
An investigation is underway.
