The Stade de Genève will be given a facelift ahead of the Women’s Euro Championships this summer – which Switzerland is hosting.
Geneva will be hosting 5 matches – including one semi-final. The games are expected to be a sellout.
The stadium will improve the catering facilities, change many of the ageing seats and redesign some areas to improve the flow of people. In addition, the sound system and ticket sheds outside will also be upgraded.
The Euro Women’s Championships will be held across the country in July.
