The City of Geneva is launching a new series of guided walks to help residents rediscover their surroundings.
The “Walking the City” programme will run from late March to the end of May, offering nineteen free themed routes — from urban nature and local history to soundscapes and dance in public spaces.
Officials say the initiative reflects Geneva’s strong walking culture, with more than half of all daily journeys made on foot — well above other major Swiss cities.
