Argentina looks set to be the next country to pull out of the Geneva based World Health Organisation., on the heels of the US.
The right-wing president, Javier Milei, says Argentina will not allow an international organization to interfere with sovereignty.
A statement from the president’s office says the WHO had failed in the covid ‘test of fire and the quarantines triggered ‘one of the worst economic disasters in world history.’
Argentina contributes around CHF 4m a year to the WHO.
