UEFA fanzones continue to welcome football fans

UEFA Women's Euro 2025

Switzerland’s quarter-final loss to Spain in the UEFA Women’s EURO brought together around 4’000 people at the fanzone on the Baby Plage on Friday evening.

Despite losing, fans stayed on until the end to cheer on the Swiss team in their final match.

The fanzone have said that it’s been a friendly, non-aggressive and mixed crowd that’s ultimately been very respectful, win or lose.

The fanzone has already been hailed a great success and will remain open until Sunday July 2027. It’s a great place to watch tonight’s match where England will face Italy at 9pm.
