Swiss Post has gone ahead with its annual results press conference despite the deadly bus fire in Kerzers that killed six people, including a PostBus driver.
Chairman Christian Levrat said the company was deeply saddened but had a duty to continue its public mission, even in difficult times.
The 63 year old driver had been working for PostBus for the last two years and was one of the victims in the fire.
The CEO of the company, Stefan Regli, says he was a valued member of the PostBus family and says his thoughts are with his family.
A minute's silence was held during the event.
Swiss Post says it is in contact with the driver’s family and is offering support following the tragedy.
