Geneva Watch Days starts today.
It’s a relative newcomer. It started in 2020 during the height of the pandemic by a small number of brands to boost visibility – but now there will be 52 at the Rotonde du Mont-Blanc.
The event has quickly gained in reputation and is now considered a cornerstone for the watch making community.
Sales of high-end time pieces have dropped since the end of covid – but experts say its more of a return to normal.
But the important markets are moving. There are fewer sales in Asia, but demand from the United States is growing.
It starts today and goes on until Monday. Admission is free and guided tours are also available.
