Canton Geneva is having to find new accommodation for hundreds of migrants because of the upcoming G7 meeting.
In recent months, dozens of families have been placed in hotels as reception centres filled up.
But with the upcoming G7 summit in Évian, those rooms are now needed for international delegations, forcing authorities to relocate many of the families again.
Officials say emergency solutions are in place, but acknowledge the system is stretched.
There are new accommodation projects due which should gradually ease the pressure.
