Drivers in western Vaud face four nights of disruption on the A1 next week.
The motorway will close between Villars-Sainte-Croix and Écublens each night from 22:00 to 04:30, from Monday 14 to Thursday 18 September, for road marking work.
The Federal Roads Office says a signposted diversion will be in place along the secondary network.
The closures could be postponed if the weather turns bad, because fresh paint needs dry conditions to set.
