The health minister Alain Berset hinted over the weekend that the need of the vaccine certificate could soon be over and rules will start to lessen.
But he warned the virus can still be unpredictable.
Speaking to the Schweiz am Wochenende newspaper, Berset says the days of the certificate should be coming to an end, as well as compulsory home working and quarantines.
Vaccinated travellers entering Switzerland no longer need a negative test nor take a second test a few days later.
