This year’s Geneva Pride will take place from the 6th June and ending with a large parade on Saturday 10th.
Organisers say the message of tolerance is as strong today as ever. Despite gay marriage being legalized, conversion therapy and transphobia remain legal.
They also warn abuse in the street, on social media and in the press against the LGBTQ community remains widespread in Switzerland.
In the days leading up to the march, there ‘ll be debates, conferences and other projects across the city with a large Pride Village in the Parc des Bastions.
