Geneva organization to help with paperwork

A new organisation has been set up designed to help people who feel overwhelmed with paperwork.

The Autonomia Association helps those mainly aged between 18 and 30 who suffer with administrative phobia.

The founder, Fabienne Muller, runs workshops on how to manage your bank account, fill in tax forms, set up health insurance and other day to day activities.

Muller says the idea started when she started to show her own children how to fill out forms, they told their friends who then also asked her for help. She realized there was a need.

She says a bad start in life can lead to over indebtedness and a downward spiral.

The costs of the course are low, only about CHF 40 – it’s being backed up with private donations.
