What should have been a fun gender reveal party turned sour after a woman was fined for illegal fireworks.
A woman, originally from Brazil, ordered some smoke bombs from her home country for a party in Geneva.
But she didn’t know they would be illegal here. She’s been fined CHF 500 for illegal importation and has to pay another CHF 500 in costs.
No news on the gender of the child.
