It’s good news for cross border shopping and frontaliers – the franc has reached its highest level against the Euro.
Yesterday morning, 1 Euro was worth point 92 francs.
The rate offered at the Migros Exchange counters would mean that for CHF 4,000 – you’d get EUR 4,260.
The franc is benefitting from its safe haven status as the situation in Ukraine seems to be more tense after the US and the UK allowed its missiles to be used in Russia, and Moscow fired a powerful experimental missile into Ukraine.
Analysts say there remains scope for the Euro to weaken further if the uncertainties persist.
