Three Swiss guards have had to return home from the Vatican after they refused to get vaccinated.
The Pope has ordered that everyone in the city state – including tourists – has to be inoculated against Covid-19.

A further three guards have been suspended from duty as they await their final dose.
Switzerland has provided guards for the Vatican since the year 1506.
