A group of female Afghan cyclists have been granted asylum in Switzerland after support from the International Cycling Union based in canton Vaud.
38 refugees arrived in Geneva this month after long talks involving the ICU, the Vaud state councillor Philippe Leuba and Geneva Airport.
They are currently staying at the federal asylum centre in Boudry in canton Neuchatel.
