If you lose your mobile phone in Lake Zurich – the police will retrieve it for you, for a fee.
This happened on Saturday: a teenage girl dropped her phone into the depths – she called the police, which arrived on a boat with lights and sirens.
One officer donned a wet suit, dived below the waves and brought the phone up to the surface.
The cost of this: CHF 135.25.
It’s a service the police offer – and they retrieve around 2 phones a day.
