The investigation into a group of young people who hunted suspected pedophiles in the Lugano area has wrapped up.
Ticino police say around 30 youths were involved, most of them now adults.
Depending on their role, they received penalties ranging from warnings and fines to suspended prison sentences.
Between January and May last year, the group lured men online before staging so-called “punishment actions,” some of which were filmed and shared.
Charges included coercion, kidnapping, and extortion.
