The US vice president, Kamala Harris, will be coming to the Ukraine Peace Conference which will be held in canton Nidwalden on the 15th and 16th of June.
The United States says the vice-president will come with President Joe Biden’s security adviser Jake Sullivan.
The White House says the US government is committed to a just and lasting peace in Ukraine.
The Swiss Department of Foreign Affairs says that it’s delighted the Vice-President will be taking part in the conference.
More than 70 heads of state and government will at the conference due to be held at the Bürgenstock, but China and Russia are staying away.
