Two women, aged 21 and 25, have been arrested in Martigny in canton Valais after allegedly scamming an 85-year-old man by pretending to be police officers.
The victim got a call from someone claiming his bank accounts had been compromised and that a colleague would collect documents.
Soon after, a woman showed up and left with his bank cards, PIN numbers, and even some valuables.
The suspects were caught not long after, and police say all the stolen items and money were recovered.
An investigation is ongoing.
