Two major tram lines in Geneva are suspended over the summer to allow for renovation.
Lines 12 and 18 won’t run between Plainpalais and Carouge until the start of school on August 18th.
The TPG decided to stop the lines as major roadworks would have caused disruptions anyway, so it was decided it would be better to use that time to renovate the tram lines.
Replacement buses will be running instead.
