Emergency services in Zurich took four hours to pull a street cleaning truck out of a sink hole in the centre of the city.
The truck was running past a building site on Talstrasse when the road gave way.
Gas and water pipes below the surface were damaged and had to be switched off.
A heavy-duty tow truck was called in to haul it out.
No one was injured.
