Traffic was severely disrupted in Geneva yesterday morning after a truck crashed into a tram on the Route de Chêne.
Police say there seems to have been a miscommunication between someone giving instructions to the truck driver who was manoeuvring and the tram driver.
The tram was severely damaged – and the driver slightly injured. But no passenger was hurt.
The accident happened at just before 10 yesterday morning – it took more than two hours to clear the road.
