
Geneva public transport is very slow compared to the rest of the country, but the operator, the TPG, says it runs a dense network with plenty of stops which makes the service extremely useful.
It does admit the current spate of roadworks are not helping, and trams and buses are caught up in traffic jams like everyone else.
There are also going to look at more dedicated lanes and prioritize services at light-controlled junctions.
But the TPG says space is always a problem in the city.
