One of Europe’s most breathtaking autumn train rides runs through Switzerland – says the New York Times.
The Centovalli Railway, linking Locarno and Domodossola, has been ranked among the five best autumn journeys in Europe by the paper.
Known as the “Treno del Foliage,” the line dazzles passengers with golden beech forests, blooming gardens and historic arcades says the paper.
A proud moment, says the operator, for a railway now firmly on the international map.
