Supporters of restrictions fight back

After a large demonstration against the coronavirus measures in canton Basel-Country last Saturday, those in favour of the lockdowns and the vaccine are starting to fight back.

Led by the Swiss satirist Nils Althaus - an online campaign is being launched so those who believe we need to adhere to the rules and get a vaccine can show their position.

He’s joined by Socialist politician Lea Kusano in Bern. She says you don’t see those in favour as they follow the rules. They don’t go on marches and they stay inside as much as possible.

So, a social media campaign is underway from today. Those who support the rules should post a picture of themselves with a mask and the hashtag #NOLiestal – after the name of the Basel city from last week’s campaign.
