A man wanted for murder in Barcelona has been arrested in Geneva.
He’s suspected of killing a 48-year-old man in the Spanish city in the middle of August.
The news of the arrest of the suspect in Geneva was broken by the Spanish press. It’s reported he was apprehended about two weeks ago.
The news was greeted with relief in the Poblenou district of Barcelona. Locals say they’ve been frightened to leave their homes since the killing.
The man was tracked down by a special police unit which focusses on finding fugitives and escaped prisoners.
