Six teenage girls have been sentenced for a violent assault on another girl in Oensingen, Solothurn, last January.
The 16-year-old victim was hospitalized after the attack, which the perpetrators, aged 14 to 16, filmed and shared on social media.
They reportedly mocked online criticism and showed no remorse.
Authorities in Solothurn opened a criminal investigation.
Details of the girls and their sentence are not being released as they are underage.
