Police searching for two people who went missing in the Rhine River over the weekend say they’ve recovered two bodies in Schaffhausen.
The pair, a 23-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man, were swimming near Paradies in canton Thurgau on Sunday when they were both dragged under the water.
What exactly happened is still being investigated.
Schaffhausen cantonal police say the bodies have not yet been formally identified, but they are certain they are the missing couple.
