The outgoing head of the Federal Police Office is getting a year’s salary as a payoff – which is causing some politicians to question the nature of the resignation and are asking if there’s something to hide.
Nicoletta della Valle – who’s 62 years old – is due to leave her post after 10 years at the beginning of next year. She’ll be getting a lump sum of CHF 340,000.-
