Yesterday evening, around 100 people gathered peacefully on Zurich’s Rathausbrücke for a permitted pro-Israel demonstration under police protection.
On the other side of the river, several dozen people formed an unauthorized pro-Palestinian protest, chanting slogans and refusing police orders to disperse.
When some demonstrators tried to push through police lines, officers intervened.
One person was arrested, and another was injured. No serious violence was reported.
