A police patrol in neighbouring France didn’t need sniffer dogs to find a secret cannabis fiel. It was so strong, they could smell it from their car.
The officers were on a street near Thonon-les-Bains.
They found a clearing in a nearby field which was being used to grow the drug. The police say it was ready for harvesting.
They cleared 5 kilos of plants. It’s estimated the value was over EUR 50,000.
