Prosecutors in Bern have taken the unusual step of releasing unpixellated images of two men suspected of being involved in a brutal attack in the city last April.

Swiss authorities normally protect the identity of suspects until a conviction.

The two are wanted after an 18-year-old man was injured in the face during an argument.

Police have had no luck in tracking them down – and are turning to the public for more help.

The attack happened on a small street, the Milchgässli, just behind the main train station on April 12th.

The images are on the Bern police website – and information, please contact Bern cantonal police
