Nearly 3,000 people took to Lake Geneva on Saturday for the second edition of the ‘On The Water Geneva Festival’ — dancing from their boats to music blasted out in 360 degrees from a floating barge.
The International Lake Geneva Rescue Society carried out 59 rescues during the event - mainly due to alcohol or heatstroke - but organisers say the party was a success — and they hope it becomes a permanent fixture on Geneva’s summer calendar.
