Cantonal experts are stressing there is no danger from the cracked glass at the Chêne-Bourg Léman Express train station.
On the ground level, the frosted glass allows light into the station below.
Around half of the glass slabs have developed cracks.
Experts say there’s no danger. The point out the glass is made up three panels and it’s only the surface level that’s cracked, which doesn’t carry any weight.
The glass will be replaced when supplies are available, they say.
