More early trains for air passengers

Passengers on early flights from Geneva airport this Easter will have more options for early morning trains.

Swiss Federal Railways ran an experiment over last Christmas and New Year. Early trains ran from Biel, passing Neuchatel, Morges and Nyon to arrive at the airport at around 4am.

This Easter and summer there’ll be more trains running from Valais and Fribourg, as well as the trains from Biel.

The extra trains are part of the airport’s plans to cut CO2 emissions as many can leave the car at home.

The airport says no reservations are needed for the trains and all normal ticket conditions apply.
