We are in for a hot summer - that’s the prediction from MétéoSuisse.
The current heatwave is expected to abate by the end of the week – but the forecasters say the outlook suggests temperatures will stay above normal even through August.
That means this summer is et to be one of the hottest on record. The five hottest summers have all been in this century.
Some are beginning to ask questions if this country needs to be more adaptable to cope with hot summers.
The hot weather also brings strong storms. There are government warnings in place in central parts of the country to expect heavy rain and strong gusts of wind.
