Many cities across the country are banning demonstrations this weekend due to the Middle East war.
While some, like Zurich, have banned marches specifically relating to the Middle East, others. like Basel City, have simply banned all marches.
Authorities have determined the risks of violence, property damage and injury are too high.
Zurich says it has received several requests to hold demonstrations this weekend.
The ban lasts from Friday to Sunday night.
