A man is in critical condition after the snow grooming machine he was driving fell 400 meters down a slope.
The man was on the pistes yesterday morning in Les Diablerets on the Glacier 3000 site.
It tipped on the slope and plummeted down. The 35-year-old driver was helicoptered to hospital in Lausanne.
Investigations are now underway. One factor may be the excessive snow fall that’s been experienced in the region.
