The Swiss logistics firm - Kühne+Nagel - says it will have to lay off 2,000 staff. Around 1,000 more than previously believed.
The company, which is based in canton Schwyz, employs 80,000 world-wide.
It says it hopes the job cuts will save CHF 150m - but it still wants to save a further CHF 50m.
Sales are down, but profits have been hit due to the strong franc.
