Geneva police are hunting two men who robbed a jewellery shop on Rue de Chantpoulet.
The armed men launched the attack at 10.30 yesterday morning. They tied up the shop workers and trashed the shop. The staff were in shock – but not physically harmed.
What exactly was taken is still being accounted for, they did take several high value watches before fleeing on foot.
Police sealed off the area and notified the French police in case the robbers headed for the border.
One man outside the shop at the time was arrested as police say he was acting suspiciously and they believe he may be an accomplice.
