Hospitals around the country are seeing more and more people admitted as a fourth wave of infections spread.

But the effects of the vaccine are becoming clear. Those being treated are younger than before, as more older people have been vaccinated, and only the unvaccinated are in intensive care, according to hospitals.

The Federal Health Office says the number in hospital has increased ten-fold since July.

Hospitals around the country are united in calling for more people to be vaccinated. In Geneva, spokesman Philipp Lutz, says it’s vital more get vaccinated as soon as possible otherwise they could be overwhelmed again.
