Health officials in Switzerland are warning that the flu season has not yet peaked.
The Federal Health Office says reported cases dipped slightly last week, largely due to delayed reporting over the holidays.
Infections remain highest in the northwest, particularly in Basel-City, Jura and Neuchâtel.
Influenza A strains are currently dominant, including a newer H3N2 variant, though authorities say there is no sign so far of more severe illness.
